Quality and ISO 9001 certification
Inspection equipment includes one manual and one fully automated CMM, a shadowgraph projector and a Keyence image measurement system for profiles and thread forms.
- ISO 9001 quality system
- Our quality system is certified to ISO 9001 by URS, a UKAS accredited body. We have routine audits from our customers and year on year Top Supplier Achievement awards.
- Programmable CMM
- An Aberlink Axiom 900 5-axis CMM with an RTP-20 auto-indexing head measures to ±0.001mm. Programs are written offline, so inspection runs unattended alongside production.
- Manual CMM
- A 3-axis Mitutoyo B231 CMM measures points, cylinders, lines, planes and x, y, z co-ordinates to ±0.001mm. We also hold a full range of calibrated micrometers, verniers, thread and plug gauges.
- Image measurement
- A Keyence IM-8020 image measurement system with rotary table and light probe measures profiles and thread forms automatically.
- Shadowgraph projector
- A shadowgraph projector is used to check profiles and thread forms, and for new product and tooling development.
- Part marking and traceability
- A Pryor dot-peen marking machine provides unique part identification. Full material and part traceability, PPAP, FAIR and SPC are provided for aerospace, defence and marine customers.
