About Beta Engineering

Beta Engineering has been located in Goldthorpe, near Rotherham, since 1984 and has developed a focused manufacturing capability based on CNC technology.

We specialise in high volume, repeat batch work. Two manned shifts cover 6am to midnight during the week, giving 1,600 hours a week of manned capacity, and robot loaded cells keep machining lights out. On average over 100 tonnes of steel and 80,000 parts a month pass through the factory.

Our sliding head lathes produce finished components complete from bar, without costly secondary operations. Turning runs from 3mm to 400mm diameter, and our machining centres take work up to 1500mm by 660mm.

Our operators and toolmakers feed value engineering back to customers and run the shop floor on lean manufacturing principles. Our long standing customers are blue chip organisations in rail, yellow goods, oil and gas, petrochemical, and military and aerospace.

Our current capacity list, ISO 9001 certificate and company presentation are available on request. Please email us for a copy.
